Sponsors: Community Foundation of Western North Carolina Purpose: This project grant is geared toward students functioning below grade level standards, students with 504 plans, students who are non-English speaking, students of migrant families, students of low-income families and students with IEP's or PEP's. Eligibility: K-12 teacher within Buncombe County School System Possible Areas for Funding: Reading or other hands-on, challenging, interactive educational materials for students to use in the home. Materials/ projects for developing counseling/ support groups for students with motivational, study or organizational programs. - Technology projects that raise at-risk student's experience with technology and /or increase their academic performance.
